A two day adult card costs about €22-25 while a five day card is around €35. There is a small reduction for children. This card gives you free transport in the city and includes 16 attractions plus discounts at over one hundred more plus other discounts. Available online or from tourist information centers, some metro stations,etc.

Visitor Information Offices
In Barcelona there are many different tourist offices for your convenience. At these information centers you’ll find all kinds of information on hotels and other accommodations in the city. With all the maps and brochures you’ll be able to research the different attractions and decide which of those you wish to see first. You’ll also be able to stock up on maps and other information for your trip. The workers at the tourist office live and work in the city so they know a lot of information and they will give it to you just for asking. They will know the latest events and the latest traffic patterns, too. They can also tell you what events are on during your stay.

Weather
In Barcelona the winters are cool and the summers are warm and sunny so let that help you when you are thinking about when to visit the city. It’s a popular city to visit in Europe at all times during the year because the winters are not frigid and there is hardly any snow. Travelling at that time is possible and enjoyable. The summer is a great time to visit Barcelona making the best sightseeing time of the year.

Many people travel to Barcelona in the month of August, so keep that in mind. If you want to avoid the crowds you’ll want to travel at a different time of the year. Pack plenty of comfortable shoes and clothing no matter what time of the year you decide to visit.
